Jo is the chief executive lead of the Dunham Trust. She is an NLE leading a National Support School with a wide range of School to School support.

Jo has worked within the primary sector for thirty-five years. She is passionate about primary education offering wide and balanced experiences for our young people. She has been the headteacher at Elmridge Primary, an outstanding school, for nineteen years. Elmridge became an academy in September 2012 and an academy sponsor in 2013, forming the reputable Dunham Trust – an ever-expanding trust now having five schools and one free school. As a cohort one Teaching School, Elmridge has been at the forefront of educational change.

Jo is an advanced facilitator and since 2012 she has been instrumental in developing the NCTL licence, offering expertise for the NPQH programme and leading face-to-face training for NPQSL and NPQML. Jo has played an active role in supporting all leadership developmental programmes and delivers the ‘Stepping into Headship’ NCTL accredited programme.
